Your top-level entity in Elma. An institution can have one or more campuses, each with their own departments, classes, and staff while sharing institution-wide policies.

Academic Year

Elma organizes all data — attendance, grades, fees, exams — within academic years. You can maintain historical data across multiple years while operating the current one.

Roles

Elma uses a role-based access system. Core roles include:

  • Super Admin — full institution access
  • Campus Admin — scoped to one campus
  • Teacher — class and student data for assigned classes
  • Student — personal learning portal
  • Parent — portal for linked children
