How long does it take to set up Elma?

Most institutions are fully live within 3-5 business days. Our onboarding team guides you through each step, from configuration to staff training.

Can I migrate data from my existing system?

Yes. Elma supports bulk import via CSV and Excel for students, staff, courses, and historical data. Our team can also assist with custom migrations.

Is there a mobile app for students and parents?

Yes. The Elma parent and student portal is fully mobile-responsive and available as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Native iOS and Android apps are on the roadmap.

Is Elma GDPR compliant?

Yes. Elma is fully GDPR compliant. Data is stored in encrypted, region-specific servers. You retain full ownership of your institution data.

Can we use Elma offline?

Elma is a cloud-based platform that requires internet connectivity. Offline attendance capture via the mobile app (with sync on reconnection) is available as an add-on.

How does the AI Tutor work?

Elma AI Tutor analyzes student performance data, identifies gaps, and generates personalized learning recommendations. It also includes a chatbot interface for real-time doubt resolution on course content.

What payment gateways are supported for fee collection?

Elma integrates with Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Flutterwave, and several regional gateways. Bank transfer and cash receipt tracking are also supported.

What kind of support is available?

All plans include email support. Growth and Enterprise plans include live chat, dedicated account managers, and 24/7 critical issue support.

Can we customize Elma to match our branding?

Yes. You can apply your institution logo, colors, and custom domain to the Elma portal. White-labeling is available on Enterprise plans.

Does Elma support multiple languages?

Yes. The admin panel and student portal support English, Arabic, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and several other languages. More are being added continuously.
